A Weekend in Maryland

Well, even though our photographs are mainly set in the New York Tri-State Area, I am actually not a native New Yorker;) I'm from the DC Area (Maryland, to be exact)! I went home for a weekend last month, and thought that I would take some pictures at my parent's house and neighborhood.

Dorothy Parkerfest Photos!

My friend Jamie and I went to the Dorothy Parker weekend on Governor's Island last weekend! Governor's Island is the perfect place to picnic or ride a bicycle built for two (or 6!). The Dorothy Parker festival is once a year and folks dress up in 1920s apparel and have a grand old time, enjoying the nice weather and good company. So here are the pictures!

I took these photos at Long Branch Beach in New Jersey last weekend for my friend's birthday! We had so much fun lounging around and sunbathing. Enjoy!

We had a lovely half a day from work this Friday. I was esctatic because I have been wanting to take some shots of my work neighborhood for awhile now. I know they are not the best & that I've got lots to learn, but hey - practice makes perfect, right?
